Dr. Jill Ash
Dr. Jill Ash has assembled an outstanding team of dedicated professionals that make up the staff at Valley Creek Family Dentistry. Everyone, from the hygienists and dental assistants to the office administrators, share a goal of providing excellent patient care.
We are a full service general dentistry practice. Our mission is to promote the dental health of our patients through appropriate procedures and timely intervention. Oral health is a major factor in general health, and we encourage our patients to develop good habits that ensure a bright, healthy smile.
We enjoy working with children and take special care to make sure each child’s visit with us is a positive experience. Good hygiene habits developed young will last a lifetime. Valley Creek Family Dentistry provides for the whole family, from toddlers to grandparents!
Our overall approach to dentistry is a conservative one. We do not push expensive procedures that are not needed. We try our best to save a living tooth before we suggest a bridge or an implant. We would much rather prevent decay than fill a cavity.

Neysa Scheduling Coordinator
Neysa graduated from the Minnesota Institute of Medical and Dental assisting with a Licensed Dental Assistant degree. She worked in Oral Surgery before joining our team fourteen years ago as one of our Business Assistants. Neysa loves utilizing her vast knowledge of dental Insurance and is always willing to help patients understand their dental insurance plans. She is an invaluable asset to our team. Don’t be surprised if she greets you by name when you come to our office!
Neysa has been married to her Mr. Fix-it Jack for 36 years and has two grown children Amanda and Matt. In her spare time Neysa enjoys spending time with her family, working out and the Fine Arts that Mps/St. Paul has to offer.
One favorite part of her job is providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile. She loves getting to know her patients and building long term relationships.

Sandy RDH.
Sandy graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1999. She has been part of Dr. Ash’s team for 20 years! Sandy strives to ensure our patients always feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. To her, there’s nothing more gratifying than educating and helping patients understand their dental needs and overcome their dental fears. Her calming demeanor and friendly smile always puts our patients at ease.
Sandy is married to her High School sweetheart and best friend Jim, of 33 years. They have two beautiful daughters Bailey and Mikenna, and a grand puppy named Vader.
In her free time Sandy enjoys spending time at their cabin on Cross Lake, riding her motorcycle, wine tasting and the Minnesota Vikings!
Kim RDH
Kim joined Dr. Ash’s team 20 years ago as a registered Dental Hygienist. Kim is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendships with each of her patients. Her beautiful smile and understanding nature make it easy for patients to feel comfortable. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs.
Kim and her husband Justin live in Cottage Grove with their two children Corbin and Rosie. In her spare time Kim enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and their two dogs Bella and Josie. Kim is also known to be the local dog sitter with as many as seven dogs visiting at any given time.
Kim’s favorite quote is, “Attitudes are Infectious”.
Stephanie LDA
Stephanie is a Certified and Licensed Dental Assistant with Valley Creek Family Dentistry. She has been assisting for fourteen years. Prior to joining the team at Valley Creek Family Dentistry Stephanie worked in the pediatric dental field. Stephanie is originally from a small farm town south of Moorhead, Minnesota. She now calls Lake Elmo home.
In her free time, you can find Stephanie exploring the outdoors with her husband Dave and their two fur babies Stella Blue and Jax. Stephanie is friendly, outgoing, and always makes sure our patients enjoy their visit.
Kelly Jo Office Manager
Kelly Jo is the Practice Manager at Valley Creek Family DentistryBehind her beautiful smile is a woman who is passionate about getting to know all of our patients while making sure they receive excellent service and attention from our Practice. Kelly Jo brings twenty plus years of dental experience to our team. Kelly Jo is a proud member of the American Association of Dental Office Mangers. She also enjoys speaking on the subject of “Creating Smiles with Excellent Customer Service” to Dental Assisting and Hygiene students at local colleges.
In her time away from the office, Kelly Jo enjoys time with her family in the outdoors, sporting events, reading and continually learning. One of Kelly Jo’s favorite quotes is, “Challenges make Life interesting, but overcoming those challenges makes life meaningful.”
Ellie RDH
Ellie is celebrating thirty years as a Dental Hygienist. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and several dental study groups. “I enjoy staying current with the most up to date procedures and practices. Providing compassion and guiding patients to their optimal dental health is my goal.”
Ellie resides in Stillwater with her husband Tom and their beloved dog Haley, and cats Henry and Clara. In her free time Ellie enjoys spending time with family and friends at their cabin, boating, traveling, gardening and projects around the house.
Alie RDH, LDA
Alie is not new to Valley Creek Family Dentistry, she has been a patient of Dr. Ash’s for the past twenty-two years! Alie is a graduate of Century College with a dual license as Registered Dental Assistant and a Licensed Dental Assistant. Alie worked as an Oral Surgery assistant before coming to work at Valley Creek Family Dentistry. Alie works both as an Assistant and a Hygienist for our team.
Alie loves spending time with her family including her husband Sean, new baby Hubert, and her two black labs Juneau and Hoonah. In her spare time Alie enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening.
Alie is inspired by a quote from Mother Teresa, ”If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.”
